I stayed here a few days after my wedding with my husband, 2 small children, parents and siblings. The house was amazing, especially the view of the ocean from the deck. The place was clean, nicely decorated, well stocked and Kirsty communicated really well. She even left us a card and bottle of cava to celebrate our wedding! It was private but a 3 min drive to central Russell. The driveway was steep but easily fit our 4 cars. We cannot fault our stay at all and I would definitely stay here again. We saw fantails, Tuis and weka and the garden was beautiful.

My daughter and granddaughter and I had a lovely 2 night stay here. It was close to the bay so we could go for a walk and even a swim.

11 out of 10! This place ticked all our boxes and absolutely exceeded our expectations! Private, gorgeous views and had everything we needed for a weekend away! We loved having an evening drink on the deck and watching the sunset in the hot tub! Silv and Steve were such wonderful hosts! They were friendly, genuine, generous and really walked the extra mile for us. Could not recommend their beautiful place enough!

We had a great weekend trip away at Bobba’s Bach, it was exactly what we wanted for our family of 7. Peaceful and private, with room for all of us, and didn’t feel squished. Was suitable for young children too with big back yard, and walking distance to Russel and other surroundings. We will definitely be back next summer.

Our only regret is being able to stay just two nights in this beautiful wonderland. we had a family of 8 staying and the house suited us perfectly. Right on the beach with easy access to the boat ramp also the house had fish filleting area which was perfect. Great place to stay - worked perfectly for us. Gary

We had a wonderful stay in this home. Everything was immaculate, modern and had everything we needed and more. The kids room had toys and story books which was appreciated as we had a 1.5 year old. There were plenty of games and puzzles which provided hours of fun for everyone. It’s close to Paihia and even closer to main supermarket which was convenient. The hosts were very helpful and polite. The home was very thoughtful and considerate to guests. We appreciated the stay :)

Had a good stay, only concern was that the double bunk bed inadequate for an adult.

Deborah went above & beyond expectations making us welcome and our small dog it was lovely, she suggested we might like to walk to the beach which was perfect for our dog and us as we'd been travelling in the car, very relaxed, great stay thank you Deborah and Daniel

Awesome place! Beware there are 60+ steps, but that makes for an even better view! A cozy place but a little small if lots of you. Would recommend!

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

Wonderful view, clean large apartment, and the host was very quick and helpful with arrival information and so. A great place to relax and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Lovely place, relaxing and an awesome path to the beach, although it took me awhile to find it. Neighbours were friendly and helpful to guiding me to the path.

Sehr grosszügige Unterkunft. Gavin hat uns super Empfehlungen gegeben, zb eine Insel zu besuchen. Wir haben dort einen wunderbaren Tag erlebt. Sehr schöner Wanderweg der Küste entlang nach Paihia. Restaurant nebenan sehr gut. Sehr zu empfehlen das JFC Restaurant in Paihia.

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

Beautifully decorated! Comfortable beds, stunning views, immaculate gardens, friendly hosts, cute downtown with lots of shopping, restaurants, and scenic tours within walking distance - although I had to get a ride back up the hill 😉 🙄 … loved our stay here!!
