This spot is a newer area in D.C. Can take the boat from Alexandria, drive or take uber/cab. Lots of restaurants, often acitivites on the peer and music. Not cheap- but can enjoy the area without getting dinner there. A few smaller coffee shops as well. Oldest fish market in the U.S.
