Elliott house was such a lovely stay. Instructions were clear and check in was super easy. It's in a lovely location and it was spotless clean too. There was a basket eith biscuits and teas/coffee on arrival and the heating was on so it was lovely a cosy (especially handy when it's - 1* outside) the parking is right outside too. We all loved it. With some comments from others with us that the photos online didn't do it justice! The hot tub was a great addition and an added bonus was feeding the animals with Vic too. I'm pretty sure that's a activity for the kids but we (a group of 7 adult women) absolutly loved it. Fresh eggs from the chickens were a lovely touch (and delicious) I'd recommend this place for frienda and family and it's jst as good for adults only as it would be for families with children. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We have just returned from a weekend at Elliott House and the dairy for my dad's 60th birthday. We all had the best time! Both houses were beautiful and clean on arrival, added bonus that the gardens joined together meaning we didn't feel like we were separated. The kitchen in Elliott House was superb and fully kitted with everything we needed to make a Christmas dinner for 14 people. Rachel responded quickly to any questions I had and the gentleman that does the ground maintenance was super friendly and helpful in finding a good walk for our cocker spaniel. The only 1 small negative we had was "the secure dog walking area" being a lot smaller than we had originally thought it would be. That a side we an amazing stay and would definitely look at coming back again. Thankyou from the Smith family 😊

What a fabulous place. We booked this for a Hen Do and honestly it was beyond what we were expecting. Nicola really went above and beyond making sure we had lots of toiletries and tea and coffee. The place was lovely and clean; the beds were nice and comfortable. The location was pristine and we had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

What can we say! A fantastic, family friendly stay with so much for the children to do. We made good use of the play area and flood lit football pitch. The boys LOVED visiting the farm and feeding the animals/ collecting eggs. We stayed in the Old Milking Parlour- it was spacious, clean and had absolutely everything we needed and more. Highly recommend - we will definitely be back!

Two of us had a cosy stay in the annexe with our doggy. It was peaceful and relaxing and the hot tub under the stars was lovely. Would also highly recommend a massage from Mandy.

We stayed for a couple of nights over Christmas and cooked our Christmas dinner at the lodge. The kitchen was very well equipped - the oven was a bit tricky but the hob was fine. The lodge was very clean and homely. Great peaceful location and the most amazing sunsets were visible from the lounge. Caroline was really helpful and on hand if needed.

Our Stay at the miners Cottage was a pleasure. The location was perfect for me and my Son we were visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. The home was very cozy and clean, and Maxine was available via text if we had any questions, which we didn’t as everything was perfect. I would highly recommended this accommodation, if you are looking to stay in the area.

The property was in a great location, easy to walk to town, the area is gorgeous , right near the castle. Dimitri was a great host, communicative, and he was really accommodating. The home was spacious, well decorated, spotlessly clean. The beds were comfy, we all slept very well. I agree with the other comments that it's a little tired and there are some things that could do with a fix (like the fridge door). But I think they've priced it accordingly so it's 5 stars from me, I would definitely stay again.

We just left here after a 6 week stay in between a house move and we didn't want to leave! It felt like home immediately and was a real comfort to us during a stressful house move time. The hosts are wonderful, kind people and we are grateful to them for their help and support. Making friends with their dog topped our stay off nicely. Great place and amazing hosts. Thank you.

We had a lovely few days in this cosy accommodation. The fire was lit when we arrived, and we had all the basics we needed, milk, bread, coffee tea and sugar. There also some toiletries in the bathroom. We visited Go Ape, which is a short drive away. The kids liked exploring, and looking at the beautiful horses. I would recommend and would visit again.

This is such a lovely house, very clean, with books, a spacious loft room, and a garden to relax in. The location is near to a tram stop; shops, Tesco's, Sainsbury's are about 15 minutes' walk away. The welcome fruit and wine added a thoughtful touch to the welcome extended to us. Thank you, Michael and Heather, for a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay if you are wanting to stay in that area

We had a lovely short break. There was plenty of room for three of us and a small dog and everything was there that we needed. Just note if you plan to do any cooking, you need to take everything as there was only salt. The Lodge is located near to many interesting places and we stayed local.

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

Place was exactly as advertised. Easy access and host communication great. Right on a bus stop or walkable to town centre. All in all great stay

We enjoyed our stay with very comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower. Rashid sent us a video which made finding the place very easy. There was road parking immediately outside.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and perfect for our short stay in Derby.

Halcyon cottage is the perfect get away. It has everything you need. It’s clean and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect for exploring the Peak District. Highly recommend. Roger and Andrew are lovely!

it was great night at Suzanne's place. When you get there, is easy to find. Veen only for one night. but was great, everything seemed to be local, walkable to town centre. Suzanne offered so much breakfast choices, not expected this. Definitely, is a place to recommend.
