What a fabulous couple of days away and what a find in Olive Cottage!! A much needed break with some work good friends and what a lovely space we found. From the lovely fire, the hot tub, ample space for us all to relax and enjoy. Comfy beds and lovely recommendations in the Vines Hotel - such lovely food! The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful too throughout and each of us left thinking about when we might book again!

Si estás buscando algo fuera de 'The Holiday', esta casa de campo es para ti. Estaba limpio, cálido a la llegada y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos para una estadía maravillosa. ¡Logré encerrarnos y David resolvió el problema de inmediato! También fue extremadamente útil cuando tuvimos algunos problemas para escuchar el jacuzzi, se acercó directamente y nos mostró dónde nos estábamos equivocando. We had a lovely time at Philippa’s cottage. The cottage is lovely, very clean and in an amazing location. Philippa is a great host and we could not recommend it enough.

This was our second time staying at Jo’s place, and for good reason… it’s perfect! Very clean, beautiful location and well-equipped cottage. We’ll be booking again for trip number 3!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. Excellent location, within walking distance of Stow-on-the-Wold village. Super clean and cosy cottage, plenty of space for us, and perfect little garden for the dog. Easily accessible with parking available. David was a very attentive host and responded quickly to our messages. There was a lovely touch made by leaving local chocolates upon our arrival, and fresh milk. Perfect. Highly recommend. Family friendly!

Sarah was a friendly and responsive host. The cottage was beautiful and we were welcomed with fresh milk and Prosecco which was a really lovely touch! The cottage is situated in beautiful surroundings and a 45 minute walk to the gorgeous Burford. We had a fabulous, relaxing New year stay! Thankyou Sarah xx

Great house, beautiful location. Good dog walks locally, nice pub and restaurant next door. Plenty of space in the house for bigger groups, loads of parking and the garden was great.

Una hermosa casa de campo en un entorno idílico. El lugar perfecto para alojarse y recargar las baterías. Nuestro fin de semana lo pasamos relajando frente al fuego de leña, paseando a nuestros perros por los muchos senderos en la puerta y disfrutando de la encantadora comida en los pubs locales aptos para perros, que están a pocos pasos. Rachel fue una anfitriona maravillosa, receptiva y servicial y la cabaña estaba impecable a nuestra llegada.

Gorgeous cottage in a peaceful location - great for a weekend away and nice walks from the doorstep

This place is absolutely gorgeous, especially with the cosy woodburner! Also such a lovely touch to leave eggs, bread, milk and delicious jam- it made us feel completely at home!

Tuvimos una hermosa estancia en esta casa de campo. Llegamos temprano, Ross permitió un registro anticipado. La calefacción estaba encendida, el lugar estaba impecable y algunas botellas de vino en el refrigerador. Encontramos que la casa tenía todo y más de lo que necesitábamos. El mobiliario y la decoración eran de muy alto nivel y la cama era extremadamente cómoda. La ubicación fue perfecta para nosotros, no muy lejos de tiendas/pubs y muchas rutas a pie. ¡No podemos recomendar esta estancia lo suficiente! y sin duda volveremos en verano para más paseos con nuestro perro.

Absolutely perfect stay!! We loved this cottage so much and such lovely village. Jo went out of her way to make the cottage amazing! We had lots of delicious treats left 😃 we will definitely be coming back to stay again! Thank you so so much Jo and hope you all had a fab Christmas 🎄

Hannah and Vincent were exceptional hosts. The little cottage has been very well thought out. Everything you need and more. The lovely wood burner just added to the cozy feel of the place. Lots of extras like, cleaning products, plenty of toilet paper, kitchen roll, bathroom products, shower gel, shampoo etc. Plenty of soft fluffy towels. Hannah dropped off extra bedding as we were staying for 1 month, a small bin for the bathroom and bin bags and a very nice bottle of wine! Tea, coffee with a great coffee machine. Walking distance to some great pubs and restaurants. Two local supermarkets, fab butcher, bakers and some very nice coffee shops. In easy reach of Daylesford organic, Diddly squat farm shop and lots more. For anyone travelling by car will need to look at parking times, Hannah sent helpful instructions, but like us you can easily travel by train to Kingham station and get a taxi ( we used A1 taxis in chipping Norton, really reliable and friendly service) Recommend 5*

Gorgeous cottage made for the perfect stay. Comfiest beds, brilliantly appointed kitchen - a super easy and cosy place to hang out with a good spacious lounge. A true home from home. Great walks straight from the front door. Alan was super helpful and accommodating. Can’t recommend enough.

Lovely stay great location

A lovely bolt hole for a weekend getaway from the stresses of life. Cosy and everything you need. Great to have a fully-fitted kitchen making it easy to prepare food too! I’m sure we’ll be back 🙂

The cottage is in a perfect location for all local amenities and attractions. It is very peaceful, all we could hear were the birds singing in the morning. We arrived on the Friday evening and Janice had prepared the cottage ready for our arrival. Communication was good. We hope to be back in the summer.
